The Ten Commandments of the Drake

1. Thou shalt believe all that the Tide, Old Ways, and Light teaches, and thou shalt observe all its directions.
2. Thou shalt defend the Gilded Drake.
3. Thou shalt respect all weaknesses, and shalt constitute thyself the defender of them.
4. Thou shalt love the Kingdom in which thou wast born.
5. Thou shalt not recoil before thine enemy.
6. Thou shalt make war against the infidel without cessation and without mercy.
7. Thou shalt perform scrupulously thy feudal duties, if they are not contrary to the laws of the Tide, Old Ways, and Light.
8. Thou shalt never lie, and shalt remain faithful to thy pledged word.
9. Thou shalt be generous, and give largesse to everyone.
10. Thou shalt be everywhere and always the champion of the Right and the Good against Injustice and Evil.

You'd be correct - on this site.The Gilded Drake is based on the ideals of Chivalry as written by the Historian Léon Gautier (See the Commandments of The Gilded Drake) put into the WoW universe. Alongside this, we have taken the Templars from Assassin's Creed and mixed therein (See The Auric's Pledge) and mixing it with the Purpose of the guild (See Purpose) - This all accumulates into a concept deeply rooted in Chivalry, Knights, and Nobles: Which is also reflected in our two to three week long campaigns.Alas, there is also 'The Brotherhood' which you can read more about down below.All of the information pertaining to the Gilded Drake is public knowledge - however - any knowledge regarding the Brotherhood, is not.

recruitment into the Gilded Drake and why join?

You can whisper "Wickerladen", "Extravasate", or "Aneurysms" to set up a time or a place where your character can be recruited. This will likely happen in one of these places, which you are more than welcome to use as IC hooks for your character to already know:
• The Boralus Bureau: The main headquarters of the Gilded Drake. Often locked, but banners of the draconic ouroborus still hang from its walls.
• Caer Castelier: On the Western edge of Drustvar lay a stygian castle with the name of Caer Castelier. There the seat of the House of Pendrake is retained - The Gilded Drake's home.What races do we accept?

• We're mostly looking for the chivalrous type. Knights, men-at-arms, squires, nobles, courtiers, and even commoners who wish to do something more and join a greater cause! Even outlaws and criminals who seek to better themselves and do good, have a place in the Gilded Drake, provided that they are able to change their ways to the noble life.────────────────────────────────────⊱⁜⊰────────────────────────────────────What do we offer?
• Weeks-long interactive campaigns that change actively alongside the actions of the participating characters that will also result in different endings and conclusions to each campaign.
• An interactive story made up of several campaigns that has been ongoing since the Dragonflight pre-patch and will have at least another year left before it is concluded. We understand that this is daunting to join, but, there are tools and tl;drs set up in our discord to make sure that even those who have never been to a campaign, or missed one, that they can be caught up with the essentials both IC and OOC.
